TRUE NORTH FRIENDSHIPS

An Evening of Camaraderie in Toronto

January 22, 2026

On Thursday, January 22, Magellan welcomed customers, business partners, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment executives and staff, and Magellan employees for a memorable evening at Harbour 60 Steakhouse in Toronto. With approximately 80 guests in attendance, the night reflected the strength of the relationships Magellan has built through decades of working together across Canada.

The iconic Harbour 60 provided a warm and elegant setting for an evening centered on conversation, laughter, and connection. Guests enjoyed the opportunity to spend time together away from day-to-day business, reinforcing the sense of trust and camaraderie that has long defined Magellan’s presence in the Canadian market.

The evening was elevated by the presence of some of North America's most recognizable sports figures. Maple Leafs legends Doug Gilmour, Wendel Clark, Rick Vaive, and Curtis Joseph—each of whom played a defining role in the franchise’s history—spent the night mingling with guests and sharing stories from their careers. Representing Toronto basketball were Raptors alumni Jamaal Magloire, Alvin Williams, and Matt Bonner, all of whom helped shape the early years and growth of the team. Also in attendance were former NHL players and two-time Stanley Cup champions Andrew Shaw, Bryan Bickell and Kris Versteeg. WNBA player and Canadian Olympian Kia Nurse served as emcee, bringing warmth, humor, and an unmistakable sense of national pride to the evening.

Each guest received team hats that quickly became cherished keepsakes as the athletes signed autographs throughout the night.

Magellan was delighted to spend such an unforgettable evening with good friends.
